About

Granville Smith Furniture Wax is all hand made by Jeremy Granville Smith in his workshop in the Inner West of Sydney, Australia.

The unique blend of the wax came about because Jeremy couldn't find a wax on the market that gave antique furniture the sheen or long lasting finish he was after. After 1 and a half years and and numerous batches and mixes Jeremy finally came up with a product that he could proudly use on his restoration work and give to clients to maintain their pieces. Since then this mix has been further refined and is now available in 3 different colourings to suit all different types of timber.

It is a natural blend that goes back to the roots of furniture wax using no synthetic dryers or extra solvents. As it is made by hand in Jeremy's workshop with no machinery involved, each batch has it's own characteristics, just like the antiques it is created to be used on.

The original recipe, a secret blend of pure beeswax and other natural waxes gives finish a unique feel and lustre, enhancing the beauty of the wood surface and giving the furniture an even overall shine.
